DELIVERY

WHERE IS MY ORDER?

On your order confirmation, you will see an anticipated date of dispatch and estimated date of delivery based on your chosen method of delivery.  All orders have a production lead time of 7-10 days.

Royal Mail -  Economy Delivery - (small parcels up to 2kg 1-2 tapes)
Royal Mail aim to deliver in 2 to 5 working days, but this isn’t guaranteed. Please allow 5 working days for delivery before contacting us.

Parcel Force UK & International - UK over 2kg 

Parcel Force aim to deliver in 2 to 7 working days depending on delivery location but this isn’t guaranteed.  For Irish customers please allow up to 5 working days for delivery before contacting us.

CAN I CHANGE MY DELIVERY ADDRESS?

We can change your delivery address up until 1pm on the day of dispatch, please contact us as soon as possible and we will be happy to amend your delivery address.

DO YOU DELIVER OUTSIDE OF THE UK?

We are currently only able to accept orders online for delivery to the UK and Republic of Ireland.

Delivery will be made via Parcel Force International Standard, within 3-7 working days after dispatch.

CAN I SEND AS A GIFT DIRECTLY TO THE RECIPIENT? WILL THEY KNOW IT’S FROM ME?

If you would like to send your gift directly to your intended recipient, you can add their address as the delivery address, and we’ll post your order directly to them.

Our orders are sent with a delivery note, which you will find inside your parcel, but this isn’t a gift message. The delivery note is printed with the contents of the parcel, the recipient’s name and address and the senders name and address. There are no prices on the delivery note.

Alternatively, add a gift card for a small additional charge and we will print your message onto this.

CAN I CHOOSE A DELIVERY DATE AND TIME?

If you need your order to be delivered on a specific day, please contact us and we will try to organise this.

You will be sent a tracking reference when we email you to let you know that your order has been dispatched.  We are not able to provide a tracking reference for any order sent via Royal Mail 1st Class, Royal Mail 2nd Class, or Royal Mail international Standard services.

HOW MUCH DOES DELIVERY COST AND HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE?

UK

Delivery within the UK by Royal Mail is included within the price.

Certain postcodes in Scotland and some offshore addresses including Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, and Channel Islands do incur a slightly higher delivery charge with our courier. We do apologise if you are affected by this.

IRELAND

Delivery is from £6.50 and is calculated by volumetric weight. We are currently only able to accept orders online for delivery to the UK and Ireland.

ORDERING

I’VE MADE A MISTAKE WITH MY ORDER, WHAT CAN I DO?

Please contact us as soon as possible. Unless your order has already been sent to production, then we can happily make any amendments. If your order has been sent to production, unfortunately we will not be able to amend it.

CAN YOU GIFT WRAP AND INCLUDE A GIFT MESSAGE?

Yes, select the relevant option at check out and we will add a gift card and/or a gift box to your order for a small charge.

I’VE PLACED AN ORDER BUT I HAVEN’T RECEIVED A CONFIRMATION EMAIL.

Occasionally emails from us will automatically go into your email junk or spam folder, so you may find your order confirmation email there. If not, please contact us and we’ll check on our system to make sure we have received your order.

I’D LIKE TO PLACE A BULK ORDER; DO YOU OFFER DISCOUNTS?

We do offer a bulk discount, please contact us and we can let you know how much you could save.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO DISPATCH MY ORDER?

Orders for personalised products will be dispatched within 7 working days. For non-personalised items, dispatch will be within 3 working days. If you need your order faster than this, please contact us as we may be able to dispatch your order faster.

CAN I GET MY ORDER ANY FASTER?

We dispatch finished products as soon as they are ready (as a guide orders take 7-10 to produce from point of ordering). We always aim to beat our anticipated dIspatch date, but the date we advise on our order confirmation, is a good indication of when to expect your order. We do offer an option of a next day delivery service.

CAN I GET A TAPE MEASURE WITH ONLY METRIC OR ONLY IMPERIAL MEASUREMENTS?

Unfortunately not at the moment, our tape measure has both metric and imperial measurements printed on the blade.

CAN I DESIGN MY OWN LABEL?

You certainly can! If you have artwork to send us, our preferred file formats are any high resolution ready to print files – PDF/JPEG/TIFF/EPS/AI/CDR – please set colours to CMYK. We can also work with most good quality PDF/JPEG/TIFF files, the larger the file size the better. If the image looks clear on screen then we can normally work with it to make it print ready.

Low resolution files, copied web-site images, word documents, excel files or just not sure? Please send us your file and we will advise you! We have been known to create designs from sketches!

We will send you a proof of your design to ensure you are 100% happy with it. There is no commitment to purchase in asking us to create a design for you.

CAN I BUY JUST THE LABELS OR ORDER EXTRA LABELS?

Yes, you can order labels only from us or you can order extra labels of your tape measure design. Our labels are all finished with a high quality resin ‘dome’ for a great protective finish.

I CAN’T FIND EXACTLY WHAT I’M LOOKING FOR.

All of our designs can be completely customised, or you can create your own design or simply tell us what you are looking for and we will design it for you. We will send you a proof of your design to ensure you are 100% happy with it. There is no commitment to purchase in asking us to create a design for you.

Is your photo a high resolution image?
For best printed results, we recommend all images be 300dpi in height or width. Most digital cameras will take photos that are at least this size, but images saved from websites can be too small or an incompatible format.

Is your file a .jpg file format?
If it isn’t then we recommend you open it in the standard picture viewing software on your computer (PC users choose ‘Windows Picture & Fax Viewer’, MAC users choose ‘Preview’) and save it again, setting the file type to JPEG.

Are you trying to upload your image from a USB, dongle, digital camera or other external device?
Please try saving your image onto your computer first and then upload from that location.

RETURNS AND CANCELLATIONS

CAN I CANCEL MY ORDER?

Should you want to cancel your order, please contact us immediately on 0800 699 0206 we are open between 8am and 5pm. Unfortunately, once your order has been sent to production, then we will not be able to cancel your order, so do please phone us rather than send us an email to avoid any delays.

HOW DO I RETURN MY ORDER?

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns of personalised products unless the product is faulty. Please contact us by phone or email and we’ll do our best to resolve the problem.

MY ORDER HAS ARRIVED AND IT’S FAULTY – HELP!

Please accept our apologies if your gift hasn’t arrived in one piece. Please can you send us a photo of the broken item to hello@funkytapemeasure.com and we will arrange for a replacement or a refund as soon as possible.

MY ORDER HAS ARRIVED AND THERE IS A SPELLING MISTAKE – HELP!

We are really sorry to hear this. Please send us a photo showing the problem to hello@funkytapemeasure.com

Our gifts are tailor-made for you, so our machines will print exactly the message you enter. We advise you to double check all details are completely correct. We cannot accept responsibility for mistakes unless we find that the fault has occurred due to our production process. Please contact us so we can fully check your order.
